12th December 2016

Dear families,

Goodbye to Mr Goldsmith and Mrs Gosling

It is always sad to say goodbye to members of staff.  This term, we say goodbye to Mr Goldsmith and Mrs Gosling.  Mr Goldsmith has worked with us since 2014 and has done an excellent job at developing a positive attitude around sports and competition.  He is leaving Nightingale as he is going to be moving to Australia.  We thank him for all his hard work, his positivity and his friendship and wish him well for the future.

Mrs Gosling has worked at Nightingale for many years.  She has been a great support for children in helping them learn to read, write and become confident with their maths.  Mrs Gosling leaves us to take a position at Woodhill Primary School.  I know that she will exceed in this role.  We thank her for her commitment to the children of Nightingale and wish her well for the future.

Inspire Multi Academy Trust Partnership

The leadership of Nightingale Primary have made the decision to not be part of the Inspire partnership.  This means that Nightingale, will not at this point, be converting to an academy.  This decision was made amicably with leaders within the Inspire Partnership.

End of Term

School closes at 1:30pm on Wednesday 21st December.  Please ensure that you collect your children on time.  We will charge parents £5 for every 15 minutes that a child is left after 1:30pm.
