Ramadan—Fasting

As it is the holy month of Ramadan, it is common practice for Muslims to fast.  We have had some families request that their children fast during the day.  We do not encourage primary aged children to fast as they still need to have their lunch to ensure that they are able to learn and play without becoming unwell.  Please speak with a member of the leadership team if you wish for your child to fast.

School Trips

In light of recent events in Manchester and London, I am currently reviewing all planned trips that have been arranged for children between now and the end of term.  My priority is to ensure that all children are safe.  All staff carry out thorough risk assessments prior to any trip and we ensure that we always have enough adults to ensure all children are kept safe from harm.

I will cancel any trip where I feel the safety of the children is put at risk.

Our Cashless Office

We are no longer accepting cash in the office for school meals.  All payments now need to be paid online.  Please speak with a member of the office staff should you need support with this.  We will continue to monitor school meals closely to ensure all parents are paying for school meals.

Lateness

I have noted several children coming to school late.  This has an impact on the individual and the class.  Please ensure your child arrives at school by 8:55am.
