Address the cultural barrier (Female Genital Mutilation)

 

The school nursing team, led by Jo Burridge will be discussing the impact, both short and long term, of female genital mutilation. This will include opportunities to question medical professionals, hear from survivors of FGM and identify strategies to protect our young girls. All of this will be addressed in a confidential and supportive environment.

Emotional impact of domestic abuse on the child

Victims of domestic abuse from our communities will share their own experiences and the continued impact it has on them to this day.  Jo Burridge and her team, will be able to provide appropriate advice and support to members of our community.
